''Create opportunities by removing barriers to communication'' is my mission statement. I have elaborated it living here, in the United Kingdom. It reflects my life experience. I have withdrawn conclusions that most of our problems are related to Communication. Communication is an essence of being human. Yet it often suffers due to personal, cultural, and social differences. One may expect differences to be rather positive and enriching; practice however shows that it is not often the case. - Why is that? - It seems that we are trying to make all cultures, nations and religions equal assuming that they are the foremost representation of the individual: A basic rhetorical mistake. Is this a surprise? Not really. We do similar mistakes while classifying people: young->inexperienced, old->useless, poor->incapable, rich->clever, etc. While these or reverse relations might be true or not in different cases, we have to remember that they are not necessarily implications nor tautologies. The idea of creating opportunities by removing barriers to communication makes the heart of the project I attempt to realize. For this, I need your cooperation. I have identified several disadvantaged groups that need attention. Here they are: Disadvantaged groups: Disabled people with major communication problems People facing language barriers Skilled immigrants out of the social grid Just graduated (no experience) Just retired Older people Baby boomers (in the nearest futures) Misunderstood visionaries, inventors etc. Socially rejected Nomads You might be one of them or you may just want to help them. Money question? Well, the goal of the project is to let people improve their situations. Merging our skills and knowledge, while crashing barriers to communication, we all shall make a few good pennies. Witold About barriers Overcoming barriers
